You would rather these children go hungry???? It would be nice to have only highly nutritious foods, but a granola bar, fruit snacks, or applesauce can go along way to stave off hunger pains for a child. You obviously have never been in the situation of being truly hungry...

Please check your facts. I am speaking of the original colonization of Zimbabwe (Southern Rhodesia) and the injustices of the 1800's by the white farmers. These lands were taken by the whites and oppression of the indigeous peoples was very heavy-handed. I have no love of Mugabe and his tactics.

Those white owned farms you speak of were from lands taken by force many years before. This country has just as bad a history of de facto apartheid as South Africa ever did.

Are you kidding?? Where are you getting your facts? Russia had put an economic hold on Georgia for years by placing an embargo on trade of any kind with Georgia. Russia was the main buyer of Georgian exports prior to this.

Georgia did not attack first!! South Ossetia is a breakaway region within Georgia. There was fighting between Georgia and the South Ossetian forces that was started by the South Ossetians first. Then a ceasefire was called by Georgia. It is then that Russia invaded Georgian territory.

They only have Russian passports because Russian gave everyone Russian passports when then were in control prior to Georgia's independence from them and also have given out these passports to the breakaway regions to place their claim on them.
